We are a leading full-service web design and digital marketing agency specializing in the jewelry industry. We serve clients across the United States and other parts of the world. We're currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team!
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage complex web development projects from initial concepts through final implementation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resources needed.
- Use Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to drive project planning and execution, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum/Kanban-related meetings.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and under-budget delivery of projects.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs to keep the plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes.
- Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short
- and long-term goals.
- Act as an interface between the development team, internal stakeholders, and clients to clearly convey project status and risks.
- Foster a project culture encouraging knowledge sharing, decision-making transparency, and innovation.
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within a web development environment, focusing on e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify.
- Strong experience with project management software like JIRA, Confluence, and other tools.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, technical languages, browsers, and operating systems.
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills in English.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
**Nice to Have**:
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms like Magento.
- Experience in a fast-paced, agency-style work environment.
- Shopify Partner experience or certification.
