About the Role:
We seek a versatile and experienced Technical Service Specialist to provide comprehensive support across consumer, commercial, and industrial lubricants. This role includes customer support, market insights generation, product development guidance, marketing collaboration, and training/promotion activities.
Responsibilities:
Customer Support: Offer advanced technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Insights: Gather and analyze market data to identify trends and customer needs.
Product Development: Suggest and conduct customer service projects for specific requirements, collaborating with R&D to provide customer feedback and guide product improvements.
Marketing Collaboration: Support marketing efforts by providing technical input and creating promotional materials.
Training and Promotion: Develop and deliver training sessions for customers and internal teams and promote product benefits through technical presentations.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers, R&D and marketing teams to align on product development and promotional strategies.
Regulatory: Experience dealing with regulatory matters and ANP's ordinances and processes is desirable.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a technical service role within the lubricant industry.
Required Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of lubricants and additives.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in technical software and tools.
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
