Hoymiles Power Electronics Inc., is a globally leading inverter manufacturer with offices and services around the globe.
The headquarters is based in Hangzhou China and the R&D department and manufacturing facilities are also based there.
Hoymiles has a significant R&D team to design and manufacture state-of-the art microinverter & hybird inverter for the international markets.
To develop our business in Brazil and deliver better service to our customer, build a strong technical support structure we are looking for an experienced Technical support engineer for Pre-Sales activities and After-Sales Services in Brazil, reporting to head of technical support HQ and dot-line report to Latin America Sales Director.
Major responsibilities: After sales: 1.
Maintain the service level and fulfill the service request coming from local customer especially some of our VIP customer.
2.
Establish the internal and external training system, localize training materials.
3.
Lead the negotiation with local service partner including 3rd party service company, logistic and warehouse vendor, manage the contract with local service partner including but not limited to draft, re-new, termination.
4.
Follow RMA process to make sure they will be closed on-time.
5.
Responsible for developing solutions to optimize the local service quality including technical guidance, service respond time, spare unit pool management, faulty unit disposal, total costs.
6.
Provide service reports to HQ on a regular basis.
7.
Complete temporary task released by head of technical support HQ or Latin America Sales Director Pre-sales: 1.
Collaborate with sales team to plan and complete technical exchange with Brazil customers, train clients and set forth detailed technical solutions etc.
2.
Prepare presentation documents, technical explanation and other related files including bidding documents to maintain the customer satisfaction and service level.
3.
Analyze legal technical requirements and certifications for defined countries and drive execution of agreed and required certificates.
4.
Monitor market environment and provide competitive information.
5.
Analyze product and features of competitors regular and work closely with HQ team to finish the competitive analysis.
6.
Strong support to sales team, visit clients and project sites, support system planning and give guidance to PV system installations, service strategy implementation etc.
7.
Coordinate with sales team to organize training sessions, attend exhibitions.
Required experience and competence: 1.
Based in Brazil and can accept national and international travel to make sure the local service team deliver a good service, depends on business request.
2.
HBO diploma in an Electro-technical direction and / or a qualified education within the solar energy industry.
3.
At least 3 years technical background work experience, renewable industry would be preferred.
4.
At least 1 years professional experience in working with inverter technologies, e.g.
R&D, service, pre- and post-sales, string inverters industry would be preferred.
5.
Self-driven working mind set, willing to dig in and find out problems, report with clear logic, always providing multi proposals to choose from.
6. International mindset for a multi-cultural environment.
7.
Fluent in Portuguese & English.
