Technician Maintenance Jarinu Location: Jarinu Position Summary: Electrical and mechanical maintenance, equipment automation, pump assembly, conveyor maintenance, instrumentation maintenance, panel maintenance, MCC, reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, knowledge of electric welding, equipment lubrication, good manufacturing practices. Responsibilities: Electrical installations: (Preventively) maintain and/or renew and/or expand the electrical installations and measurement and control installations (both low, medium and high voltage) taking into account the instruction list in order to optimize the availability and capacity of the installations.Maintain the installations according to the preventive maintenance program.Switch on and off power cables.Preventatively or correctively replace or repair parts.Renew and improve electrical installations, including the controls.Follow up the (process) technical properties of the installations.Correct interpretation of processes, drawings, electrical diagrams, procedures, etc.Integrate and/or renew switchgear.Update electrical files (e.g. manuals, electrical schematics, etc.) in the appropriate IT system and/or via the appropriate documents.Signal malfunctions or improvements. Reparations: Repair breakdowns or malfunctioning of electrical installations and measurement and control systems.Analyze the cause of the problem by measuring the electrical voltage/current, insulation value, etc.Prepare maintenance work by using correct tools, spare parts, drawings, procedures, etc.Perform administration when using warehouse items as well as working with and/or assisting the warehouse attendants to ensure continuity of the warehouse.Escalate shortages of stock material to the warehouse operative.Correctly resolve the problem by replacing or repairing parts and escalate to or consult with the person in charge or colleagues in case of irregularities.Escalate problems relating to high voltage. Safety: Ensure that the necessary actions, including any administration, are taken to allow the installations to be used in a safe manner.Apply Sibelco's lifesaving rules and the LOTOTO principle: Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out.Ensure that the necessary PPE is available and used correctly.Carry out and apply procedures such as LMRA, work permits, standard operating procedures and specific safety instructions.Correct use of available tools and associated procedures.Communicate with the control room or other departments during the work.Check the values of fuses, cable sections, etc. based on the available electrical diagrams.Report any safety problems.Implement and participate in safety improvements and actions.Operate the fire alarms. Production: Assist and work with the operators on problems that shut down production in order to get production back up and running as quickly as possible. External organizations: Assisting external electricians with the installation of new machines, making all the connections, adjusting the machines and, if necessary.Accompanying external companies on company premises. Qualifications: Formal education as technician and correlated courses in electrical and mechanical.
