Role Purpose:
Perform predictive, preventive and mechanical corrective maintenance of the plant, with the aim of ensuring the preservation and availability of equipment to meet the real needs of production.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment and be responsible for its safekeeping and conservation, as provided for in the safety policy manual;- Participate with commitment and responsibility in the company's safety programs (safety start with me/Stop/DDS/SIPAT), seeking to be an example, with proactivity, excellence and meeting the established goals, including stopping the operation and calling superiors when observed scratchs;- Actively participate in HR programs, follow schedules pre-established in the contract and influence other electromechanics to follow schedules;- Maintain a culture of engagement and commitment;- Guarantee the availability of equipment that composes the processes to meet the real production needs;- Carry out corrective, predictive and preventive maintenance of production equipment according to the schedule delivered by the programmer or supervisor;- Register the services performed in the respective forms relevant to the maintenance procedures;- Keep the organization, cleaning and care for the equipment, supervisory and tools, following the 5 S's program and Total Productive Maintenance;- Carry out equipment tagging, maintenance/lubrication according to the Total Productive Maintenance program and training;- Instruct, train and assist electromechanics regarding mechanical maintenance;- Carry out/participate together with the maintenance planner in the annual maintenance schedule and ensure that it is complied with;- Maintain equipment records and histories, as determined in the respective MOC (management of change) procedures;- Ensuring the integrity of the equipment and its security items to provide safe operation to all unit employees, using the padlock interlock on the equipment panel in all equipment maintenance activities (LOTO - logout tagout);- Follow relevant government standards in mechanical maintenance;- Ensuring the execution of program activities for the unit's 26 elements;- Inspect equipment, measure parameters (sealing, gaps, vibrations, noise, cracks, heating, thermal insulation, leaks, etc.
)- Perform welding services in general if necessary;- Monitor the maintenance carried out by contractors;- Perform repairs on all mechanical equipment;- Make requisitions for the purchase of materials for mechanical maintenance;- Promote improvements in the mechanical area of the plant, aiming both at reducing maintenance costs and at improving the performance of production processes/equipment.- Supervise the mechanical/hydraulic installations of the unit.- Inform the Maintenance Supervisor about the need to hire mechanical maintenance services that cannot be carried out internally;- Carry out activities always respecting the environment, current legislation, neighbors and the community, using Sibelco's code of ethics and conduct as a basis;- Control spare parts stocks, supply and control the maintenance software (TPmanager) with the help of the maintenance programmer;- Ensuring organization and cleanliness in the lubricants area;- Train electromechanics in highly complex mechanical maintenance and contact a maintenance supervisor in case of doubt;- Measure the grounding resistance with adequate frequency and intervene preventively or correctively if necessary;- Fix leaks in the unit's hydraulic networks;- Supervise the wear time of mechanical parts and compare with that specified by the manufacturer;- Keep the existing hydraulic design updated in the plant in the unit's files;- Understand and actively participate in the continuous improvement program of the unit's processes (Project management) and ensure that mechanical maintenance is always up to date with regard to measurement equipment and procedures;
