THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to our GPS (General Platform Services) Focus Area, Anti-fraud team in Brazil!
This role is to join the Anti-Fraud team, responsible for identifying, preventing and removing fraudulent actors from Wellhub. We work closely with all teams inside Wellhub to identify potential fraud vectors and the actions to take in order to prevent and/or remove these fraudulent actors. We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer with a solid history in building systems to help us build our anti-fraud system that can easily be used by any team.
YOUR IMPACT
You will be responsible for discussing the design and building an anti-fraud system for Wellhub;
Collaborate with multiple teams and our data scientists to identify possible fraud vectors;
Decide which actions should be taken and build the system that will allow the data scientists to create rules and ML models to identify and prevent fraud from taking place;
Your work will have a direct impact on the health of the Wellhub' marketplace, finances, and in the continued success of the company.

WHO YOU ARE
Have solid experience in the design and implementation of at least 1 medium-to-large-sized system in any programming language;
You can work both autonomously and collaborate in a team environment;
You are able to present your work in a meeting setting in English, or Portuguese;
Extensive experience working with any of the following programming languages: Java/Kotlin/Node.js/Go (the team uses Go);
Experience with anti-fraud or anti-abuse will be considered a plus.
