WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Technology Domain Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and
development of advanced solutions for refrigerators and freezers, working with the
integration of system and components for new projects and product architectures.

IN DETAIL, YOU WILL:
- Develop technical solutions for Cooling System modules, components, and
interfaces, scoping, designing and taking charge in every step of the project from
concept to launch and post-launch;
- Provide support in projects to create the technical product and engineering
project documentation according to the Electrolux Project Management methodology,
such as technical specifications, testplans and results (DVR), ECN's, BOM's,
among others;
- Develop and implement product concepts and ideas from customers and marketing
into executable product requirements;
- Investigate and prescribe optimized materials and manufacturing processes for a
given component and sub-systems, integrating outside industry best practices and
manufacturing innovations into development;
- Contribute to collaborative sessions within and outside technical domain to
gather information and verify technical opportunities, consumer needs, and
possibilities for optimized design;
- Look for opportunities to generate novel technical innovation that can be used
to gain competitive advantage.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean
Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
WHO YOU ARE:
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization or Master's degree
in refrigeration will be a plus);
- Experience with refrigeration systems development and component integration for
automated manufacturing;
- Experience with development of air flow technology (ventilator integration,
manual and mechanical dampers, and definition of insufflation/air return ducts);
- Experience with use of CAD software (preferably CATIA V5) for development of
electrical and mechanical components and structures;
- Experience with generation of test procedures to verify specifications;
- Advanced English.

YOU WILL BE BASED AT THE GUABIROTUBA PLANT IN CURITIBA.
