Role Summary:
Responsible for the primary nursing care or first aid to ill and injured employees. Typically provides advice to business supervisors/managers on illness, injury management, managed time loss, local health issues, and absenteeism.

**Responsibilities**:

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities: May develop and implement programs to monitor/reduce absenteeism, modified duty return-to-work programs, and short-term programs such as health promotions. Other responsibilities might include managing rehabilitation care, assessing an employee's fitness-to-work, monitoring health hazards and following emergency care and response processes. Incumbent is a qualified registered nurse with occupational health experience, including emergency care qualifications and first aid experience.
