Telco 5G Core Consultant will be responsible for delivering Oracle Telco 5G core-based customer solutions for the consultingservices organization.
This person has primary responsibility for the technical delivery and support of a customer solution.
The Consultant will work with delivery team and others vendors to successfully scope and deliver customer solutions.
Key activities performed by the Consultant will include:
Delivery process definition (Implementation Strategies) Migration and Database Conversion planning Performance Optimization/automation/scripting Integration/Interoperability/automated Testing 24/7 Advanced Support handling tickets for expedite resolutions Primary responsibilities of the Consultant are:
knowledge transfer regard the activities to be executed, prepare customer documentation, identify risks and potential impacts and prepare contingency plans.
Attend emergency calls 24/7 to support and evaluate operational problems, issues, analyze, perform workaround or solution on short term proposals.
Job Requirements Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skills.
Ability to interpret and develop detailed network/system drawing and excellent problem solving/analytical skills.
Knowledge & experience ofdata communications concepts of network architecture, TCP/IP Protocol suite, SNMP, NTP and troubleshooting.
Knowledge & experience with the following LAN technologies:
Ethernet (10/100/1000/10G), VLANs, Spanning-Tree, and switching knowledge.
Knowledge & experience with VPN, IPSec, SCTP, TLS, IPv4, and IPv6, and Routing Protocols/technologies.
Ansible Tower, Playbook, REST API knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge & experience with platforms framework and Operating Systems:
Linux/Unix, Windows, Cloud Native (OpenShift, VMWare or Oracle), Kubernetes (K8s), Grafana, Kibana, Jaeger, Jenkins, Selenium, Openstack, and Kubernates certification preferred.
Strong Knowledge/experience 4G & 5G Technologies:
HLR, HSS, SPR, EIR, ENUM, AAA, SDS, MySQL, DB query/scripting (pearl/python).
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with Field service experience in customer facing roles.
Ability to effectively deal with multiple activities, changing priorities, organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure in critical situations.
Willingness to travel up to 50%, for domestic and international traveland willing to work in shifts.
Strong oral and written communications skills and must be able to clearly and effectively communicate work status, risks, and issues.
Confident to deal with customer incidents and issues on demand.
Willing to attend and support Maintenance Window (on site or remotely) including weekends.
Willing to attend duty shifts of 24 X 7 on-call support on a rotational basis including weekends.
