EARJ is looking for an experienced and accomplished Temporary Middle School English Teacher (MYP) to join our Gávea campus team.JOB MISSIONGuide, prepare and develop EARJ's students, promoting excellence in the learning of holistic skills, and encouraging critical thinking, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility. Providing a high-quality American and Brazilian education for the academic and personal development of students that meets rigorous international standards.The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in English; 3-5 years of experience as a Middle School English Teacher (MYP) - preferred if in an international school context; a skillful practitioner in multilingual classrooms; a motivated learner who accepts responsibility for their own growth; someone who thrives in an atmosphere of transformational leadership; is passionate about learning and skilled in high-impact 21st century instruction; and, most importantly, teaches students not subjects.
