Test Automation Engineer
As a Test Automation Engineer at Fugro, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of our web-based data processing pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute automated test scenarios, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality product.
What You Will Do
Design and implement automated test scripts for web-based data applications.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA team members to understand application features and design effective test strategies.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on test status, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.
Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate resolution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies at Fugro.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in test automation.
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, Quality Engineer or related quality assurance roles, with a focus on building testing processes from scratch.
Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
Strong programming skills in languages like C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with API testing and integration testing.
Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
At least Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
Bonus Points
Experience with performance testing tools.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and GitHub.
Previous experience working with geospatial data.
