Our TECHNOLOGY department and Full-scale testingThe flexible pipes shall withstand up to 30 years in harsh offshore environments. As the final phase of the product development, full-scale tests are conducted to qualify our products and to validate our methodologies.Test EngineerAs a Test Engineer, your work will be a mixture of in-depth technical tasks, coordination and documentation. In collaboration with the project management, the R&D team and Engineering departments, you will define the test methodologies and procedures.Specific tasks include:Take responsibility for safety. Conduct risk analysis.Take responsibility for quality. Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and customer requirement. Define and follow the ITPs and procedures.Conduct calibration of equipment.Oversee preparation, execution with daily follow-up, data analysis, and reporting of the tests.Coordinate the work considering the available resources.Contribute to continuous improvement. Implement new testing methodologies and improve the existing ones.Qualifications. We expect that you:Are an engineer (general, mechanical, or marine) or have the acquired skills based on experience.Have good knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, data analysis.Have basic knowledge of high-pressure systems with gas and liquid.Are good at grasping and handling complex problems.Are proficient in documenting specifications, procedures, and reports.Have a good understanding of strength theory and solid mechanics. You can use your understanding to interpret the behaviour of the flexible pipe structure in relation to measurements of the pipe response.Are proficient in English, as this is our corporate language. The primary documentation is in English and it is expected that you can write reports and generally act in English.Have good communication skills.Are driven by results, persistent and structured in your approach to any task.Enjoy working independently.
