Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Digital Platforms team at Stellantis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading a new platform for Testing.
This position will be responsible for creating the Testing strategy for Stellantis, including Automated Testing, processes, tools, KPI's and metrics.
Key Responsibilities: Build and Lead a Global Testing Team: Establish a core team dedicated to the development and operation of the Testing platform.
This includes hiring talented individuals and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Cost-Effective reusable Solutions: Identify and implement cost-effective reusable strategies to fulfill the Testing platform's objectives while increasing quality and efficiency.
Integrate testing solutions and tools into DevOps pipelines and assist in setting up quality gates.
Communication and Value Demonstration: Effectively communicate the value proposition of the new platform to all stakeholders regardless of level and team members.
Ensure that the platform's benefits and potential are clearly understood and appreciated.
KPI's and Metrics: Define and track key quality metrics, test coverage, defect rates to start with and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
Consolidation of Competencies: Integrate all existing Testing and Automated Testing teams into the new platform, creating a centralized hub and management structure for Testing services.
Technology Investigation and Innovation: Champion the use, innovation and use of new technology and the creation of reusable testing services and products.
Evangelize to leaders and managers that this centralized approach is the most effective path forward.
Operational Excellence and Results-Driven: Maintain a strong focus on operational efficiency and achieving tangible results.
Ensure that the platform operates smoothly and meets all performance targets.
Pragmatic Approach: Apply a pragmatic and practical approach to problem-solving, ensuring that solutions are realistic, implementable and repeatable.
Qualifications: Proven experience in leading and managing quality engineering teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and career development.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor teams towards achieving business and organizational goals and driving continuous improvement.
Extensive experience in embedded quality practices via continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and experience with Web, Mobile and API testing frameworks and testing practices.
In-depth knowledge of testing frameworks, tools, and automation techniques for functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and security testing.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, including CI/CD integration using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, OpenText ALM, OppenText UFT and Loadrunner.
Ability to define and track key quality metrics, test coverage, and defect rates for the products and services your teams support and generate insightful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Experience in leveraging analytics, user feedback, and market insights to drive quality improvements and prioritize testing efforts based on user impact and business goals.
Knowledge of mobile and web app security best practices.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including development, QE, DevOps, product management, and senior leadership.
Ability to articulate technical concepts, quality strategies, testing results, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
