Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. 2 years of experience in textile design, surface design, or print design, particularly in home décor or fashion. Proficiency in Technical Drawing and experience preparing CAD bards. Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong portfolio showcasing original designs and creative problem-solving abilities. Experience in the bedding industry. Technical Knowledge & Hard Skills Mastery of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong understanding of textile materials, construction techniques, and production methods. Ability to create accurate patterns, repeats, and color separations. Deep knowledge of color theory and its application in design. Strong trend analysis skills to interpret and apply design trends effectively. Responsibilities Design unique and innovative patterns based on consumer insights and market trends. Continuously research and analyze market trends to inspire design decisions. Modify and enhance original artworks to fit diverse home textile applications, ensuring versatility and appeal. Develop original painting designs for various surfaces, including textiles and hard goods. Select and blend materials, colors, and textures to enhance the visual and tactile quality of products. Oversee the entire design process from concept to final product, including revisions and approvals. Conduct quality checks to ensure all designs meet high standards and specifications.
