Summary ObjectiveINARI Therapy Development Managers hold the responsibility for the introduction, market development and therapy development of INARI technologies including FlowTrieverTM and ClotTrieverTM for the mechanical thrombectomy treatments of Pulmonary Embolism (PE) and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) in close cooperation with the distributors in their area. VTE is INARI's whole focus and the company is committed to ensuring patients gain access to optimal treatments for DVT and PE.Therapy Development Managers will manage relations with physicians alongside creating impeccable Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships within Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology and Vascular Surgery ensuring that all key stakeholders are fully aware of INARI technologies. They work both individually and collaboratively with the INARI distributor in their area to achieve targeted goals. They support distributor sales personnel in all clinical and technical questions. INARI professionals are team-players and enthusiastic to support their colleagues in pursuit of improved patient outcomes. The position requires extensive travel throughout the geography and, periodically, international regions, reporting directly to the Distributor Manager.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of INARI technologies, competitor offerings and become an expert in the VTE space.Support the distributor personnel in your area.Facilitate and organise training for all hospital stakeholders (clinicians and nursing staff) to ensure safe and effective use of INARI products.Ensure that the end-to-end experience of utilising INARI products engenders the highest levels of customer satisfaction.Manage the scenario where the vast majority of cases in your area are proctored and the support of INARI physicians is 'best in class'.Continuously focus on patient flow strategies with customers to enable more patients to receive ClotTrieverTM and FlowTrieverTM.Strategic development and implementation of business plans to maximise the footprint of INARI technologies.Provide regular reports and keep impeccable records within an agreed framework. Enhance presentation abilities and regularly deliver presentations to engage all key stakeholders effectively.Continually strive to build the reputation of INARI and be a permanent and consistent ambassador and therapy evangelist for the company.Maintain a consistent reputation for delivering outstanding customer service at every interaction.Adhere strictly to ethical standards and promptly report any adverse events in accordance with INARI's official protocols.Job RequirementsComprehensive understanding of medical and therapeutic principles relevant to the development of new therapies.A proven track record of developing therapies and sales within a challenging, competitive and technical environment.Strong knowledge of healthcare systems within your geography.Proficiency in managing multifaceted projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress to achieve milestones effectively.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience in ensuring adherence to regulations governing therapy development processes.Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams including research, clinical, regulatory, and marketing departments to drive therapy development initiatives forward.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex scientific concepts to various stakeholders including internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities.Aptitude for identifying challenges, developing creative solutions, and adapting strategies as needed to overcome obstacles encountered during therapy development processes.Understanding of market dynamics, competitor landscape, and patient demographics to inform the development and positioning of new therapies.Basic understanding of financial principles relevant to therapy development, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-effectiveness analysis.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to evolving priorities and emerging opportunities in therapy development.Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Clinical Science, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as medical device, biotechnology, or healthcare, with a focus on therapy development, clinical research, or related fields.Experience in progressively responsible roles related to therapy development, including project management, clinical research, regulatory affairs, or related areas.Demonstrated track record of success in contributing to the development and commercialization of therapies, preferably including experience with both early-stage and late-stage development projects.Proficient in both English and Portuguese languages, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.Extensive travel throughout Brazil, with a primary focus on São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, but not limited to these areas, encompassing all regions of Brazil.Extensive computer use.Extended periods of sitting or speaking.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a medical device sales-based role in endovascular or cardiovascular space preferred.Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in therapy development, such as project management software, data analysis tools, and regulatory submission platforms preferred.
