Built on over a century of heritage and propelled forward by science, our iconic brands—including NEUTROGENA, AVEENO, TYLENOL, LISTERINE, JOHNSON'S, and BAND-AID—are category leaders trusted by millions of consumers who use our products to improve their daily lives.What will you doThe Category Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of category management initiatives that guarantee Kenvue's categories growth, giving value propositions for our customers through in-depth knowledge of our brands, customers, shoppers, and consumers.
Identify growth opportunities, market gaps, and customer needs in each category by delivering powerful insights based on data & market trends.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth analysis of product categories, including market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights.
Monitor industry trends, pricing, and promotions to identify areas for improvement and drive category growth according to business priorities.Communicate category strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Present findings, insights, and proposals in a clear and compelling manner.Establish and maintain governance process for the category along with project management execution.Deliver strong and powerful selling stories for our customers to execute Shopper Solutions having a culture of test & learn serving as a strategic ally.Responsible for the management of the Captaincies and Advisories of the brands and customers according to our Priority Matrix.Understand purchasing missions that allow leading, together with RGM, the assortment strategies, and the shelf strategies.Monitor category sales performance, including revenue and market share.
Analyze data, generate reports, and identify areas of improvement.
Develop and implement action plans to optimize performance and meet targets.Responsible for the allocation of resources according to Business priorities and opportunities for our categories with Key Customers.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all processes related to people (Continue value conversations, training and development plans, workday), of yourself and your team, in a timely manner.What we are looking forRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or related roles.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, strictly adhering to the organization's policies.Knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytics and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
