Our opportunity
We are looking for our new Trade & Customs Consultant to join our team.
Main responsibilities:
The Consultant will support the GTCC team in delivering high-quality consultancy services focused on global trade and customs. This entry-level position requires a proactive individual eager to learn and develop skills across various aspects of consultancy, including project support, administrative tasks, and client interaction.
Among the activities foreseen on the role profile, the Consultant will be responsible for:

Assist in the execution of GTCC projects by performing research, data collection, and basic analysis under the guidance of senior team members.
Help prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
Support in managing client communications, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting follow-up notes.
Participate in client calls and meetings to gain exposure to client interactions and project discussions.
Provide administrative support, including organizing and maintaining project files, tracking project timelines, and ensuring all project materials are up to date.
Assist in coordinating internal and external events, including training sessions, webinars, and promotional activities.
Collaborate with the team to develop and update training materials for internal stakeholders on GTCC products and services.
Help in the preparation of market research and analysis to support business development activities.
Continuously develop knowledge in local and international global trade and customs legislation.

Bachelor's degree in Law, International Business, or a related field.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Portuguese and English (reading, writing, and conversation) is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Technical Skills: Basic / Intermediate understanding of global trade and customs regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Intermediate understanding of Brazilian Tax System. Basic commercial mindset skill is desirable.
