The Opportunity: We are seeking an A-Player with experience in Economic Development, particularly in export promotion and foreign direct investment (FDI). In this role, you will enhance our clients' export profile in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East by promoting export opportunities and supporting the expansion of Brazilian companies into the United States. Additionally, you will focus on promoting FDI specifically within Brazil. You will be responsible for generating investment leads, developing qualified projects, and facilitating trade representation activities across these regions, all from our São Paulo office. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain a database of top regional prospect companies in selected markets and industries. Conduct outreach efforts, including sending FDI promotion materials to prospective companies in Brazil. Promote export opportunities for clients in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Schedule and attend meetings with prospects to identify and develop qualified business investment leads. Develop projects and transition them to Client Project Managers. Organize and participate in seminars, trade shows, and business development events. Support clients in expanding their export markets through strategic trade services. Conduct market assessments and prepare Partner Search Reports with a long list of prospective partners for in-market visits and vetting. Provide comprehensive reports that fully address project parameters discussed in project consultations. Offer consultation services, including export counseling, market entry strategies, regulatory compliance, and channel assessment. Deliver in-market support services such as meeting scheduling, translation, logistical support, and trade show assistance. Customize services based on client requests, providing pre-travel consultations and other tailored support. Qualifications: Experience in FDI promotion within Brazil and international trade. Strong analytical, research, and project management skills. Proficiency in CRM tools, including Salesforce and HubSpot. Excellent communication skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (a plus).
