Senior responsible for Trade Operations Execution in Brazil and LATAM Trade Loans and Risk Distribution Strategic Ops Lead. The role leads Trade & Loans Operations in Brazil, which is a very complex market, and has responsibility for ~70 FTE's and $5.7MM in operating budget. From a business perspective, Brazil is the 1st Trade Business globally and represents 48% of Trade LATAM revenue. In addition to Brazil Trade Operations, the role leads Trade Loans and Risk Distribution in LATAM, which is the largest Loan portfolio globally. Brazil Trade Operations includes Core Trade and Working Capital Solutions (Trade Loans, Payables & Receivables), which is a $160MM Business and the largest revenue contributor for Trade Loans Globally with $117MM. Brazil is a Top 10 market globally for CCB and BCMA with significant focus due to market opportunities with expected 5-10% YoY growth. Trade Loans and Risk Distribution Lead for LATAM represents $12.3B in exposure to drive best practices and adoption of Target Operating and technology infrastructures. This role is critical to work with Regional and Global stakeholders to drive best practices and adoption of TOM in LATAM and Brazil, to identify and address opportunities to improve client experience and reduce operational risk. The role requires advanced Trade Products-Knowledge including Target Solutions, System Architecture and Risk Taxonomy. A combination of specific and deep Trade knowledge due to Business complexity and wider leadership skills to develop and motivate the teams/employees and influence the partner areas is essential. The Cash & Trade Proc Sr Grp Mgr is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to support clients in the opening/closing of cash accounts, movement of funds, intra-day funds management, and compliance in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of high-volume cash management and transaction services.Responsibilities: Full management responsibility over a large team of cash and trade operations and transaction services managers in large site or across multiple smaller sites including management of people, budget, and planning. Manage multiple major processes, including Trade and Cash or Payment Processing, operational accounting, reconciliation, proofing, etc. Oversee quality reviews, end results, budget, policy formulation and planning, and significant contribution to future strategy of Cash and Trade Operations. Manage client transaction reporting, including new product introductions, statement migrations, branding, legal disclaimers, etc. Resolve highly complex and varying issues that have substantial potential impact and execute transaction services strategies by applying in-depth industry knowledge. Apply comprehensive understanding in multiple functional areas, as well as underlying business principles. Negotiate internally, often at senior levels (across functions) and with external parties, as needed. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in a related role. Experience in a related role in business, functional and people management. The role requires advanced Trade Products-Knowledge including Target Solutions, System Architecture and Risk Taxonomy. Trade and Cash operations knowledge in a large operations center. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment. Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
