Trader Assistant (Backoffice)

Job Purpose: Within CIL, the Trading Back-Office (TBO) team plays an important role in establishing efficient processes through segregation and centralization of duties and by building robustness in the controls through effective reconciliation processes.
This position focuses on the physical commodities and their daily review i.e.
the daily reconciliation between trade data captured in Trading Systems and broker/counterparty confirmations, the assistance of some controllers' functions and the involvement in few projects.
The position offers the opportunity for the candidate to explore the intricacies of the commodity market and to work with data management tools.Responsibilities:Trade Confirmation:Daily reconciliations of broker/counterparty documents and trading system transactions (commodities trades)Daily reporting of breaks to the BusinessDaily interaction with trading peers to resolve issuesDaily review of issues requiring an escalationMeasure and report adherence to internal policies:Produce weekly reports of pending issuesReport records of reconciliation to Risk peersKey Result Areas: (Key Performance Indicators)Compliance with CIL processes and proceduresAll trades timely and accurately controlledAll breaks/issues identified and resolved on timeRequirementsBachelor's degreeFluent English preferred / Advanced SpanishAdvanced Excel
