Training & Development Manager

JoVE is a USA headquartered company producing science video solutions with the mission to improve scientific research and education. Our institutional clients comprise over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders as Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our company.Responsibilities:Design, develop and implement employee training programs, including onboarding, product and role-specific training.Create engaging training materials, including videos, presentations, and other e-learning modules to improve learner engagement.Build assessment tools to evaluate learner knowledge retention and the application of knowledge in real-world job scenarios.Design and deliver training courses for management and leadership development.Analyze training effectiveness and make continuous improvements to training materials based on feedback and performance data.Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to identify training needs and align training programs with organizational goals.Apply instruction design principles to ensure effective knowledge transfer.Requirements:5+ years of employee training and organizational development experience.A Bachelors in HR, Psychology, Education or a relevant field.Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs, including instructional design expertise.Solid experience using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate360 and Learning Management Systems (LMS).Strong understanding of adult learning principles.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills.Why Join JoVE?When working with JoVE, you can expect salary and benefit package competitively placed within the local marketYou will make a direct impact in accelerating science research and in improving student learning in science educationOpportunity to work with global teams and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaborationOur strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us
