Job DescriptionHybrid: Work physically at General Motors 3 times per week (TUE-THU)Overview of Your Role:Main purpose is to support continuous improvement for GMSA Controllership, transforming processes using automation technologies.
Support other transformation initiatives to provide an overview and applicable solutions to eliminate manual risk over the process.
It will also be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
The role will involve data cleaning, data visualization, statistical analysis, and reporting to support decision-making at all levels.What You'll Do (Responsibilities)Desktop automation based on the team requirements: Automation of processes performed by peers to eliminate risk, waste, and non-value-added steps performed manually.Develop solutions to transform and maintain operational metrics for the site: Support maintenance of dashboards, files, macros, and other tools used by the site to keep operations running without any delay or problems due to improper operation of them.Increase quality in processes and deliverables by using information technologies: Increase the quality and standardize processes taking advantage of previous deployments.
Proactive contribution with other members to transform an idea into a solution quickly.Data Visualization: Create insightful and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software.Data Integrity & Quality: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across various platforms and systems.Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Data Analytics is desired.Intermediate English proficiency.Programming experience.Basic accounting knowledge.Knowledge in SAP and ARM.Microsoft Office (Visio and Excel mandatory), Macros.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Desktop automation, Knime, Python.Power Platform.Ability to understand processes and divide them into tasks.Customer focus.Sense of urgency.Effective listening to understand and propose solutions based on customer needs.Ability to deal with ambiguity.Focus on results, integrity, and trust.About GMOur vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion, and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer, and more equitable for all.Why Join UsWe aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
