**Job Description**:
What you will do
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with transportation vendors, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring seamless coordination of transportation activities.
- International and Domestic Lane Management: Oversee and optimize transportation operations for both international and domestic lanes, balancing cost competitiveness with the highest level of service.
- RFI and RFQ Process: Lead the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) process in the Latin American region to identify potential transportation partners and assess their capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancement, increasing agility, and minimizing disruptions in day-to-day transportation execution.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective communication with Business Units, Logistics, and Customer Care teams to ensure alignment in transportation strategies and seamless execution.
- Day-to-Day Support: Provide guidance and support to local teams in transportation-related matters, addressing any escalations and ensuring smooth operations.

Basic qualifications
Degree level educated or equivalent experience Minimum 3 or more years of business work experience with broad exposure to other operational areas.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering/Engineering/Business preferred; other bachelor's level degrees or experience will be considered
- Experience in international transactions (transportation, customs)
