**About the team**:
The Operations team in Merama (including you) is responsible for promoting and developing logistics strategies for our partners.
We help our merchants identify areas of opportunity, providing best-in-class distribution services that enhance customer experience.
We are a team passionate about being leaders in the great performance of our products and our brands in the different digital sales channels where we have a presence, in addition to always looking for improvement alternatives that cause growth in our sales and competitiveness in the market.
**About the role**:
- Collaborate with the development and growth of Merama's Transportation area.
- Work closely with warehouse, operations and internal teams in order to ensure the best service level is provided to our customers.
- Identify, analyze and implement operational improvements within the Merama distribution chain with best market practices and innovative ideas.
- Integrate with our merchants to execute the accurate processing of order delivery.
- Carriers relationship management.
- Work with teams to review/setup operational KPIs for B2C and B2B customers.
- Measure and monitor the main service level indicators, working together with suppliers and areas to develop action plans when necessary.
- Implement technologies and systems that will support the objectives and growth of the area.
- High analytical capacity together with excellent ability to execute logistics cost opportunities and processes.
**We are looking for someone who has**:
- 3-5 years of experience in transportation management, logistics and e-commerce
- Working experience with eCommerce platforms, Direct-to-Consumer or Retail businesses.
- University degree with focus on Supply Chain/Logistics activities or equivalent based on experience.
- Advanced English level.
- Strong organization, analytical and execution skills;
- Flexibility and ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to lead in fast-paced environments with continuous new challenges
- Effective communication skills
**Desirable qualifications**:
- Intermediate Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in implementing TMS - Transportation Management System in B2B and B2C channels.
- Project management skills
