Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Physical Therapist – Inpatient/OutpatientShift : Variable Days / 8a or 9a start time, 8×5, 40 hrs/week, M-FLength : 13 weeksWeekend Requirement : Normally 3 weekend shifts per quarterRequirements:CA license2 Years ExperienceBasic acute care experience, including total joints – total knees, hips, shoulders if working inpatientBLSOutpatient and inpatient experience idealOther Details:EMR: CernerCommon diagnosis / Types of patients: OT – a little of everything for inpatient, outpatient they do a lot of hand therapy (50%) so candidates working outpatient have to have experience with hand therapy, they also work with neuro and peds but this experience is preferred.
SP – stroke, TBI's, oral/head/neck Cancer, outpatient setting will see 2x more peds so if they are working outpatient setting they will need to have peds experience.
PT – ortho, neuro, wound care, lymphedema program, peds.
Inpatient must have general acute care experience, 45-50% will be med-surg, 35% tele, and the remaining will be ICU and occasionally ER or peds.
