Location: Americana Plant, São Paulo, Brazil Primary Responsibilities Learn to develop innovative new tire products using geometric and computational tools as part of a cross-functional team.
Document and communicate development activities via reports and presentations.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments (DOE) in support of cavity geometry development.
Create final molded tire specifications for manufacturing tire molds.
Support the evaluation of products, processes, and methods to obtain results.
Contribute to the manufacture of quality products and processes.
Work in an environment to bring relevant products and technology to market.
Obtain required training and skill development for position-specific skills and personal development.
Required Education and Experience Mechanical Engineering degree (or relevant field), required.
Basic working knowledge of Catia V5 or similar CAD tool.
0-4 years of experience leading or participating in technical projects and teams.
Understanding of the Goodyear Product Creation Process (PCP) is preferred.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Power Point, Excel), required.
Fluent in English, required; Portuguese and Spanish preferred.
Skills and Abilities Ability to identify and solve problems using a logical and scientific approach.
Basic comprehension of statistical design and analysis, including cause and effect analysis and risk analysis.
Ability to carry out assignments logically using existing technology and standardized methods.
Solid organization and communication skills.
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion.
Ability to prioritize across multiple projects.
