The RoleAs a key player in strengthening the service offerings and packaging of Volvo Group Connected Solutions Latin America, your responsibilities will include integrating key insights from users and business.
You will lead the end-to-end design process, set objectives based on desired user and business value, gather insights to form hypotheses, facilitate workshops, conceptualize holistic overviews of the service offerings, and test concepts early and often. This approach will be user-centric, data-informed, research-based, and iterative.
You will explore various methods and tools to craft brand-relevant experiences, translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and rapid prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, leading to intuitive user experiences.
As a UX & Service Designer, you will also play a crucial role in establishing the design organization, sharing best practices and success stories, and exploring new ways of working with your design colleagues and the broader organization.
Some of your key responsibilities will be also:Plan and conduct user research and competitive analysis.Interpret data and qualitative feedback.Create user stories, personas, storyboards, user journey mapping, and user flows.Determine information architecture and create site maps.Create prototypes and wireframes using our shared design system.Conduct usability testing, monitor and learn to understand user behaviour.Plan and perform UX activities according to product backlog and product roadmap.Convey and inspire UX convictions to the product team.Take into account the constraints of various technical platforms in your designs, by talking to technical experts to ensure that your proposals are feasible.Coach/Mentor product owners, scrum masters, and development teams in user-centric design and design thinking, building effective teams focusing on delivering business value while respecting diverse user needs.Facilitate effective decision making working across different delivery areas.Actively work to increase the UX maturity of the group and adhere to brand UX governance.Create, develop, and lead effective processes for key strategic initiatives, interacting with senior management and multiple BAs.Who are you?You are a curious, passionate, and driven designer that has a strong background working with digital services, with at least five (5) years of UX and/or service design experience. You should know the design process and have a solid design toolbox, but it is equally important to have a drive to improve that toolbox by experimenting with new approaches and learning from success cases.
You love to work in a cross-functional, agile & goal-driven setting, where you present, promote, and lead key activities. You are comfortable in stakeholder management and presentations for senior management. It is also meriting if you have knowledge of how to navigate large and complex organizations.
In this role, you will bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Design, Interface Design, Computer Science, User Experience, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing UX projects from concept to delivery.Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful design projects across different platforms and devices.Ability to present and articulate design decisions to both designers and non-designers.Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.We value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.
