UX/UI Designer
to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences and visually appealing interfaces for our digital products.
As a
UX/UI Designer , you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct research, and translate insights into intuitive design solutions for commercial software products.
Objective
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct research, and translate insights into intuitive design solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to translate user stories/business requirements into digital experiences.
Lead and suggest functionality to the applications we develop.
Develop personas and usage scenarios through user research and data and identify pain points in the user's journey.
Identify and tackle design issues within the development team while tracking and providing solutions to design issues.
Be responsible for providing high-quality deliverables such as user journeys, user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups, and prototypes.
Stay up to date on best practices, trends, patterns, and tools in modern UX design.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and industry trends.
Critical Competencies and Profile
Proven UX design experience (5 years) with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work and process.
Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Invision, etc.
A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
Excellent communication skills – you should be able to articulate your design decisions clearly and convincingly.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of user-system interaction.
Bilingual: Fluent in English.
French is also an asset.
Self-managed mindset.
