Job Description:
We are now recruiting for Buyer to join our team in Coimbra and become part of Airbus Procurement team! As your role of Buyer you will be responsible for Tactical Sourcing activities and Contract Management support to the Direct and Indirect central procurement functions in line with the Service Level Agreement requirements. You will report to the Head of Procurement Services in the Airbus GBS organization. He/She will be the guarantor of a compliant procurement process towards the business.
Main Responsibilities:
Act as an extended member of the central Procurement function (Direct and Indirect) for Tactical Sourcing and Contract Management activities for the assigned scope.
Manage or support the Call for Tender (CFT) and supplier selection process in a fair competition mode and according to Airbus Procurement processes.
Support the drafting and negotiation of the relevant contracts/ generic terms and conditions with suppliers.
On request process standard NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) for various projects.
Manage the annual release of applicable contractual requirements and documents lists (cARL, cADL) and launching actions in case of need.
Ensure deliverables (goods/services) are in line with the contractual terms (cost, time, quality).
Support long-term alignment of the preferred supplier base with the long-term trans-national and trans-divisional strategic needs of Airbus.
Ensure and report achievement of saving targets in accordance with SLAs.
Optimize bundling opportunities to leverage the buying power of the Group and contribute to local for global initiatives.
Ensure regular two-way communication with strategic buyers in central Procurement commodities.
Contribute to innovation and digitalization in the procurement process through the deployment of state-of-the-art processes and tools.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
The jobholder will have a Procurement background of 2 to 5 years and the potential to be developed in the core countries in the Procurement function.
In terms of Hard skills, the jobholder will demonstrate a strong ability in Tendering process, Advanced negotiation, Legal/Contracting and SRM (supplier relationship management). He/she will bring good knowledge in Export Control and Sustainability laws and regulations.
He/she will demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, and will be fluent in English and French both written and verbal.
He/she will be easily adaptable to the Airbus E2E Procurement tools (Coupa suite, SAP, E-Proc and Airsupply) and will be used to Google suite.
In terms of Soft skills, the jobholder will be "delivery" oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. He/she will have a strong ability to convince and influence, communicate effectively. He/she will be a team player and will be comfortable with remote working. He/she will always act with integrity and equity in the supplier selection process, in full compliance with processes and regulations.
A specific attention will be brought to the Ethics of the jobholder. In his/her role, he/she is engaging Airbus legally, financially and in terms of image.
The jobholder may have to travel up to once a month to the core countries of Airbus (France, Germany, Spain and UK).
