Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreign Trade Coordinator to join our team as the Offshore Import Lead.
This position will be pivotal in overseeing all activities related to the supply chain for 3rd party deliveries and ensuring revenue integrity.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of international trade regulations, supply chain processes, and excellent analytical skills to optimize operations and drive results.Key Responsibilities: Oversee Offshore Import Activities:Manage and coordinate the offshore import process for 3rd party deliveries, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all import-related inquiries and issues, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.Supply Chain Management:Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain for offshore imports.
Maintain strong relationships with exporters, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.
Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Revenue Management:Collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition related to offshore imports.
Prepare and present detailed reports on import activities, revenue forecasts, and any discrepancies encountered.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and trade agreements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in trade laws and practices.
Develop and implement training programs for staff on compliance and best practices in foreign trade.Risk Management:Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies to address them.
Conduct regular audits of import activities and supply chain processes to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including logistics, procurement, and quality assurance, to align on objectives and improve overall operational performance.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive projects that enhance the efficiency of the supply chain and improve service delivery.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.Experience in foreign trade, import/export operations, or supply chain management, in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs processes, and supply chain best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.Growth and innovation mindset.Experience with Cold Chain Management and Anvisa import requirements.Proficiency in English at an advanced level is required.
