Job Description:
Job Summary: This position oversees transportation logistics and technology-based solution projects focusing on customer account retention, penetration, and conversion across the UPS Enterprise. He/She collaborates with cross-functional resources and utilizes the Customer Solutions infrastructure to develop and implement customer solutions across the UPS enterprise. This position works with Solution Engagement resources (i.e., Sales group) to develop customer solutions and maximize UPS revenues, visits customer sites to analyze the current state of transportation logistics and technology systems, and provides recommendations and designs cost models. He/She manages project lifecycles, including project scope, resources, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building, and deployment to see projects from beginning-to-end.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates and implements new UPS initiatives to manage the impact on previously deployed customer solutions.
Designs and implements transportation logistics and technology solutions to retain customer revenue and gain new revenue and package volume.
Implements customer solutions training and development initiatives to enhance the understanding of complex logistics and technology solutions.
Develops supply chain solutions to resolve distribution issues and meet customer expectations.
Ensures affected functions or groups are identified and works with them to negotiate process changes, ownership of processes, and manage project impact.
Utilizes tracking tools (e.g., corporate revenue report, balanced scorecard goals, etc.) to measure shipping volume and revenue from identified and engaged customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent
Experience supervising others
Experience implementing logistics and technology-based solutions
Experience utilizing tracking tools (e.g., corporate revenue report, balanced scorecard goals, etc.)
