Success in this role requires you to roll up your sleeves to combine a strong strategic mindset with broad technical and management skills. You'll partner closely with Business, Product, Marketing, Outside Technology Vendors and Operations to define our global processing platforms, architecture, and feature development strategy and execution. You'll be a strong mentor and encourage the career development of your team, while successfully recruiting and growing the team to deliver against our business requirements and strategy. As a key technical leader, you will play a big role in the evolution of TDS, striving for technical excellence and rigor in everything you and your team deliver.Responsibilities:Define the short, medium and long-term technological strategy, have it validated and mobilize the team and key stakeholders around it.Develop and lead technical solutions that execute the technical vision and meet our business objectives, considering the trade-offs to be made between time, quality, and resources, along with the needs and priorities of different teams.Refine our team development process to drive great technical outcomes.Work with our development partners on enhancing our existing global platforms and building future new lines of business platforms.Required Experience and Skills:Experience working on e-commerce products.Experience with .net development.Working knowledge of AWS and hosted environments.Experience working with a parent company and building a case for adding resources to ultimately grow company revenue and meet company objectives.Experience collaborating with key stakeholders and executives on defining a multi-year technical strategy, operational plan, and executing on the roadmap.Responsible for managing the technology budget and making investments both internally and externally to deliver technological needs.Experience working in cross platform technology services and support (e.g., online services, software, web technologies, ecommerce).Experience managing distributed teams.Can communicate complex concepts with audiences at many levels of technical ability. Demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders in many creative disciplines and across multiple locations and time zones.Experience leading, empowering and inspiring teams. Invites diverse perspectives before making critical decisions.
