Your day to day:
In charge of IR.21/IR.85 roaming configurations for several OpCos/customers. Responsible to verify and test the performance of system information related to the Voice and Data Mobile roaming system (Hardware & Software systems from Voice and Data Core system as defined by 3GPP standards). Updates the structure in which these information is processed in the roaming database for commercial services and agreements between Vodafone operators.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
Define the software requirements for the roaming information systems; tests and identify consistency problems for the data inserted in database containing IR.21 and IR.85 information about roaming operators and propose modifications to correct those errors.
Create client specific software & hardware design specifications for Voice Core interconnection tool for technical capabilities and reporting requirements for Vodafone operators to connect with external clients.
Participate to the testing of new tools functionalities developed and implemented based on previously defined requirements.
Contribute to automate the existing configuration process and generate SW requirements for modification of the tools that uses IR.21 and IR.85 documents for roaming configurations.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Knowledge of mobile network architectures and systems.
Experience in IREG and roaming testing across various platforms.
Customer focused.
More than 2 years in Telecom industry with in depth knowledge about roaming Signalling on data and voice traffic.
Programming in Python is a pro.
