You will lead a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols to meet customer demand and organizational goals.Job ContextOperating within the warehouse department, the Warehouse Leader works closely with stockman, logistics teams and production assembly lines to maintain the smooth flow of materials and products through the warehouse facility.Job Dimensions- Reports to: Supply Chain Manager- Manages: Warehouse Staff (Stockmen)- Collaborates with: Logistics, Engineering and Production TeamKey AccountabilitiesLead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.Inventory Management:Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of incoming inventory and materials.Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping activities to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.Ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet quality standards.Warehouse Operations:Establish and enforce warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and best practices.Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency.Equipment Maintenance:Ensure proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.Schedule routine maintenance and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.Quality Assurance:Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory and orders.Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and warehouse activities.Generate reports on key performance metrics, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.Qualifications, Experience & Skills- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a production environment.- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for warehouse operations.- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.- Forklift certification and other relevant certifications are desirable.Our CompanyLucy Group Ltd is the parent company of all Lucy Group companies.
