As a key contributor to our IT operations, you'll work in a collaborative environment where your skills in Windows Administration, Linux Network Administration, and Network Troubleshooting will drive the success of our technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and maintain Windows server and desktop environments to ensure optimal performance, including updates, security patches, and regular maintenance.
- Develop strategies for high availability and disaster recovery to maintain continuous operations and safeguard against data loss.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system-related issues, providing timely solutions to prevent operational disruptions.
- Design and implement security protocols to protect organizational data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Utilize scripting to automate routine tasks, enhancing efficiency and reducing the potential for human error.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support systems, proposing enhancements and implementing best practices.
- Serve as a technical expert, providing advanced support for escalated issues that challenge the standard support channels.
- Collaborate with IT team members, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive problem-solving and system maintenance.
- Manage system backups, ensuring data integrity and swift recovery capabilities are in place.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Windows Administration, with a strong background in managing Windows server environments & Citrix environment.
- Deep knowledge of networking principles and demonstrated capability in network troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with Linux Network Administration.
- Preferred Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification or equivalent.
Desired Skills: - Proficiency with Citrix virtualization solutions and its associated technologies.
- Strong scripting abilities to enhance automation of administrative tasks.
- In-depth understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Knowledge of IT security frameworks and the implementation of security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and detailed analytical abilities.
Tools Required: - Proficiency in Windows Server, Citrix server, Active Directory, Exchange, PowerShell, and Microsoft System Center.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of network management tools for effective network system maintenance.
