We are looking for LATAM Business Development Manager Workstrings to join our team in Rio, Brazil.
Summary of Responsibilities
Develop and present strategies to guide Company management in developing the Company's Long term strategic plan.
Position the Company for participation in tenders, bids, and RFQs.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations, engineering, asset management, and QHSE, and external partners and allies in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.
Research and seek out prospective projects through networking and client visits.
Provide support to executive management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and alliance development projects.
Provide input to the executive management on new products or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs.
Research emerging technologies and trends.
Forecast revenues/customer activity levels.
Maintain a strong business relationship with existing customers and further develop relationships with operators, drilling contractors, and service companies, ensuring they are fully aware of equipment and services that the Company can provide.
Proactively gather information on future customer projects, competitor pricing, regional equipment specifications, and regional news that may affect current and future business decisions.
Ensure the Company is prequalified with all prospective customers for future opportunities and that the Company is invited to participate in all pertinent tenders.
Review customer terms and conditions, quotations, tenders, and technical inquiries to ensure that the Company minimizes risks, and presents an accurate and professional response to clients.
Ensure that the Company is fully aware of all customer operations, commercial, tax, local content, and governmental requirements on all opportunities.
Assist Regional Managers, Business Development Team, and Finance in the collection of outstanding A/R invoices.
Provide input to assist in creating monthly revenue forecasts and annual plans.
Assess/evaluate marketing opportunities for presentation to Upper Management.
Interface with Operations, Engineering, International Operations, and Finance to assure Workstrings' responsiveness to customer expectations.
Assure all Marketing personnel work in an ethical, safe, and environmentally sensitive fashion.
Remain current on drilling and completion practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Experience in-house in the oilfield services sector related to WSI's products, procedures, and processes.
Proficient in the use of MS Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
Advanced Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
