**Job Purpose**
Participate in market research projects by gathering data and running analysis of market and consumer information, inorder to build consumer under-standing in line with the project objectives.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Project Management_
- Conduct regional MR projects
- Set-Up
- Management and quality control of Field forces
- Run Data Analysis
- Manage the logistics associated to the projects according to the needs:
- Samples coordination in terms of preparation and to be sent to the location of the test (CLT, in-home)
- Follow up and management of the stock of material needed for the tests
- Organisation of the consumer tests sessions whenever needed
- Management of the consumers questions
- Share of results with more senior CMI managers' and/or marketers to guide fragrance development andselection and to help to build rationale to support our submissions.
- Research and Data Analysis_
- Perform market research tasks according to regional projects needs.
- Ensure CMI data is stored centrally and accessible for future reference.
- Re-use of existing information according to needs before developing new projects.
- Collect consumer data according to the project objectives
- Analyse gathered data using statistic programmes and qualitative analysis tools.
- Prepare results summary in the form of reports or presentations, translating complex fi ndings into easy to readtables, charts and text.
- Where applicable, support panel tests (logistics, coordination)
**Academic Background**
- University Degree/Masters Degree (Marketing, Data Analysis, Statistics, Science)
**Professional experience**
- 3 -4 years of experience in market research
**Technical Skills**
- Verbal and written command of English and local language is a must.
- Understanding of statistics - in-depth understanding of inferential and multivariate statistics and experimentaldesign.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Market Research Skills_
- Understand the principles of qualitative and quantitative market research as applied to fragrance testing
- Project Management_
- Expert in planning, leading and communicating all functional steps in CMI projects
- Statistics and Analysis_
- Use of inferential statistics to interpret and explain/convey data
- Use of statistical software to analyse data (in locations where this is done in house)
- Market Knowledge_
- Build knowledge of market dynamics and trends for specifi c country, segment, category, or geographic area asrequired
- Basic understanding of fragrances (olfactory families, main benchmarks etc.) is a plus
