What you will do The Assistant Scientist for R&D Skin Health will be part of the Global Sun Development Center.
This position is focused on executing technical activities for the project's pipeline in the Skin Health Sun category.
The Assistant Scientist will have operational responsibility for formula manipulation and scientific research to support product development, generating technical background for solutions, executing lab operational activities, and writing technical documentation.
Intellectual curiosity, technical and scientific interest in skin products, good communication, and teamwork are essential skills for this position.
Key Responsibilities Perform lab experiments related to formula development with an innovative and strategic approach while applying consumer insights.Conduct analytical and in-vitro analysis using techniques such as rheology, lumisizer, and SPF prediction for sun care formulas to guarantee efficacy and robustness.Understand products developed in other regions and adapt implementation changes according to global alignments.Ensure compliance with internal Kenvue guidelines and external legal regulations considering global and regional requirements.Plan DoEs and execute preliminary studies for screening adapted formulas, establishing partnerships with other regions to understand new formulas and manufacturing processes.Conduct scientific analysis of studies and align with the global patent team to identify patent opportunities.Participate in technical teams to deliver scientific publications as a researcher, writer, or reviewer.Respond urgently to target dates and business achievements.What we are looking for Required Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor's degree in industrial pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related areas is required.
