Job Description

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Branch Manager within the Trade Division at Winterton, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibility and accountability of all aspects of the store

Key operational performance assessment

Timeous reports to Regional Manager

General administration

Stock management and control stock takes

POS process management

HR/IR management

Process improvement

Operational planning

Budgets and monthly forecasts

Growing market share and creating new opportunities

Customer service and supplier relationships

Merchandising principles and marketing of products

Attend farmers days and sponsored events

Adhere to operational policies and procedures

Ensure that sales and expenses are in line with budget

Ensure that stock indicators are in line with company benchmarks

Store profit

Influence and practice company values and strategy

Qualifications and Skills

Matric / Grade 12

Relevant Degree/Diploma (advantageous)

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Agricultural sector in a Retail Management role

Extensive knowledge of Management Principles

Valid driver's license

Computer literate

Planning and attention to detail

Time & Staff management with strong leadership skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Assertive and analytical thinker

Ability to train and develop employees

Ability to work independently and effectively in a pressurised environment
