**Responsibilities**:
- Developing and maintaining solid relationships with hiring managers in a variety of lines of business and office locations
- Preparing, issuing and tracking onboarding information packages and activities, including: initiating and managing background checks, transferring new hire files to payroll and HR Service Centre for processing, following up with new hires and managers to ensure that any onboarding issues are addressed in a timely manner, validating work authorization
- Providing up to date reporting/tracking on hiring activities
- Other related activities as required to ensure the smooth functioning of the overall recruitment processes
**Core skills and requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Recruitment agencies
- Previous experience recruiting for the financial industry is strongly preferred
- Tech Savvy: proficient HR systems skills are critical: e.g.
Workday HRIS, applicant tracking, MS Office
- Highly detail oriented, with appreciation for accuracy of data and information
- High energy, outgoing, responsive, proactive self-starter
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-confidence and the ability to quickly build relationships with experienced managers
- Supremely organized with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and expectations of clients (i.e.
hiring managers)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency
- Previous experience working in a highly matrixed global organization is strongly preferred
- Fluent English and Portuguese is a must for this position
