The Business Development Executive is a sales role responsible for developing and acquiring new clients to Gartner. The territory for this role includes specific mid-sized client accounts with revenue targets between $50 million -$500 million per annum. What you will do: Identify and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. Convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients, leading the full sales conversation and negotiation through to the transition of new clients to the account management team. Continually build an encouraging pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics ensuring KPI's are met. Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments. Exercise forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. What you will need: Bachelor's degree. 3-7 years of experience in B2B sales within either technology, SaaS, services or a consultative environment. Proven demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen. Competitive drive with a collaborative approach. You aspire to be the best and inspire those around you. You challenge yourself by setting goals, crushing them, and helping your teammates do the same. Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets in a business development/new business environment. Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives. Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process.
