Position Summary:
The Senior HRBP will build trusted advisor relationships, understand the business priorities, and translate those into an HR role strategy. Will act as a critical leader partnering with the employees in the region and their leadership team on org optimization, workforce productivity and development, executive engagement, and long-term vision planning. Also, it will help leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and overall culture, driving organizational transformation in support of growing the business.
Overall Responsibilities:
Examine situations thoroughly, check for and mitigate personal biases, and make high-judgment decisions that align with the intent of policies and minimize risk.
Ensure fair and consistent application of all company policies and compliance with laws and regulations. Take partners or escalate when the next steps are unclear.
Provide developmental coaching and feedback to leaders of others, including managing difficult employee issues, and delivering on organizational goals.
Champion change focused on creating and fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all employees. Hold leaders accountable to equitable selection, retention, and development of their employees.
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the leaders by developing strong, initiative-taking, and collaborative working relationships.
Establish an organizational and people strategy, in partnership with HR COE (Center of Excellence), to elevate culture, improve organizational health and enhance employee engagement.
Consistently review org health, use a data-driven approach to identify key trends in the business and proactively provide solutions.
Creates strategies to build leadership capability, and drive implementation of initiatives resulting in broad behavioral shifts.
Empower others to take ownership of problems, make effective decisions and recognize the broad, systematic implications of problems and issues.
Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by looking for ways to streamline and simplify processes, while eliminating waste.
Headcounts and seasonal resources monitoring in partnership with leaders and HR peers, search strategy definition, status reports analysis and frequent communication (expectations alignment) with COE's and internal customers when recruiting key and critical positions. You will act as a key resource capable of identifying talented people to the region you attend.
Employees' onboarding and off-boarding process from a HRBP view and counting with HR COE's, making sure that employee's experience is outstanding.
Understand, follow and implement all HR USA and local best practices.
Know by heart HR policies to guide employees accordingly
Basic Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar
Strong sense of integrity. Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information.
Proven ability in coaching, influencing without authority, and building strong business acumen.
Demonstrable track record in building trust and credibility between Human Resources and client groups across all levels of an organization.
Must be self-directed and possess the ability to quickly learn and use internal systems and tools.
Ability to tell a story using data. Experience reading people and hr analytics, presentation design and delivery, in support of Human Resources and business initiatives.
Must be self-directed and able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Resourceful in finding solutions; effective at dealing with resistance.
Proven ability to implement business strategies and solutions within a global matrix Human Resources organization.
Strong initiative and internal drive
Able to travel inside and outside Brazil
