Calibration Engineer

Job Responsibilities:Lead developments of PHEV calibrations for Brazil (E0, E27 & Flex Fuel) in all aspects from system definition up to in field in production quality.Cooperation with the local and global system suppliers as well as BYD.Global coordination of the calibration and controls projects.Develop calibration processes and guidelines together with the core team. Technical responsibility and accountability for the developments.Build up a knowledge foundation for the calibration team.Lead and coordinate the calibration work streams and activities performed at the system suppliers.Track progress against score cards, frequent report out towards milestones.Identify problems and shortfalls upfront.Proactively work on solutions for potential problems.Budget responsibility for the project under the leadership.Define and execute verification and validation plans and robust calibration release and system sign off.Technical Requirements:English skills (fluent).Soft skills required to work in global environment.Global experience and familiarity to work with different time zones and cultures.Deep technical knowledge in calibration, controls, emissions, vehicle drivability and ICE (PFi / GDi & E0-E100) and EV vehicles.Flexibility and open mind set.Learning agility.Strong analytical/ critical thinking, problem solving skills.Strong team player, going the extra mile.Business acumen.
