We are looking for a results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations in Brazil, with a focus on leading and coordinating the efforts of our City Managers. As the COO, you will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to execute the company's strategic initiatives and drive growth in this new market.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Strategy:Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company's strategy and business plans for the Brazilian marketProvide strategic guidance to city managers and operations teams, ensuring alignment with the company's objectivesOperational Excellence:Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including fleet management, maintenance, rider experience, and safety protocolsImplement best practices and streamline processes to optimize operational efficiencyTeam Management:Lead and mentor a team of city managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountabilityDrive the recruitment, training, and development of high-performing teamsRegulatory Compliance:Stay updated on local and national regulations, ensuring full compliance with government requirements and regulationsDevelop relationships with local authorities and stakeholders to create a favorable operating environmentFinancial Management:Work with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and ensure that operations are cost-effectiveImplement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in the Brazilian marketReporting and Communication:Provide regular updates to the CEO and the board of directors on the performance of operations in BrazilFoster effective communication between the operations team and other functional areas within the companyRequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or a related field (MBA preferred)Proven experience in executive leadership roles with a strong track record of managing operations in a rapidly growing organizationExperience in the micromobility, transportation, or related industries is highly desirableStrong knowledge of the Brazilian market, regulations, and local dynamicsExceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsA strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plansFluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken)Fluency in the Russian language is highly desirable
