Role reports to: R&D Analytical Self Care Location: Sao Jose dos Campos What you will do The R&D Analytical Scientist is responsible for deliver the analytical projects for Self-Care portfolio (Drug Products and Drug Substances) supporting Latin America in local and regional scope.
Key Responsibilities • Execution of method development, validation and method transfer to the quality control laboratory, and also for its related activities (test method creation/revision, change controls, support investigations, etc.).
• Write and review technical documents including analytical method assessments, protocols and reports in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Sense of urgency is needed to actively respond to problems and opportunities; • Communicate clearly with the internal organization (Kenvue Self Care related areas - Regulatory, Product Development, Quality & Compliance, etc.
); • Collaborate effectively with project members following priorities, checkpoints, and timelines in support of objective; • Execution of lab activities (test method validation and transfer) to support projects as analytical representative; • Prepare technical documents related to method validation and method transfers (protocols, reports and technical assessments); • Communicate issues which require escalation.
What we are looking for Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or equivalent field; • Background/experience in analytical laboratory environment and instrumental techniques (HPLC, UPLC, CG); • Knowledge about method validation and method transfer execution; • Knowledge about the regulations and/or guidelines related to method development & validation for drug products, drug substance and/or cosmetics; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and in a team environment; • Intermediate English (written communication).
Desired Qualifications • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry; • Strong technical writing skills; • Familiarity with chromatographic relevant softwares (e.g: Empower); • Strong written and oral communication; • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
