**About the role**:
We are seeking a talented Compensation Specialist who aims to be the go-to person in all rewards topics at VTEX in Latin America, North America, EMEA and APAC.
This person will be responsible for building, evolving and maintaining our compensation practices with heavy emphasis on base and variable pay, pay adjustments and compensation policies.
They will partner on a daily basis with specialized peers in benefits and equity, but also with professionals in HR Operations, Finance, Chiefs of Staff and VTEX's senior management.
**About the team**:
You will be part of the Global Compensation team and report to the Compensation Manager.
Your peers will be a Global Compensation & Equity Specialist and a Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist.
The team is distributed in different cities within Brazil.
**Who you are**:
- You have solid experience operating compensation policies, from base and variable pay to benefits and equity, ideally in a multi market setup
- You are a proficient Excel operator - pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF functions, charts and formulas are no strangers to you
- You have a good understanding of at least one of the big compensation methodologies
- You speak fluent Portuguese and English, Spanish is a big plus
- You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity
