ERM is seeking a Consultant – ESG & Impact Assessment (mid-level) to join our Sustainable Finance team in Brazil.

Responsibilities:
Play a leading technical role in delivering ESG advice to investors and financial institutions.
Assess the ESG (and/or Impact) performance of companies, assets, financial instruments or policy interventions, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Manage workstreams or smaller projects, reporting internally to Team Leaders and Partners and externally to client representatives.
Execute complex technical tasks within client projects.
Lead meetings and presentations to clients.
Write technical reports and prepare executive presentations.
Guide analysts and researchers and review their deliverables.
Contribute with improvement of methodologies and approaches of service offerings.
Requirements:
Previous experience with Sustainable Finance including at least 2 years of experience in a consulting or investment role delivering technical ESG assessments to investors OR 4 years of experience in ESG / Impact assessments in an academic environment.
Strong knowledge of ESG factors and ESG frameworks, such as SASB, PCAF, Impact Management, IFC PS, ICMA Principles, EU Taxonomy.
Familiarity with financial markets and financial instruments.
Excellent writing skills in Portuguese.
Advanced level of English required; fluency desired to join international projects.
Advanced user of the MS Office suite, mainly Power Point and Excel; Power BI and other data visualization software are a plus.
Academic background in engineering, business or economic fields; post-graduation in ESG related disciplines is a plus.
