**Role reports to**:R&D** **Translational Science Manager
**Location**:São José dos Campos - SP
**What you will do**
The Scientist II, R&D Consumer Science will be responsible for R&D market research operations for quantitative or qualitative methodologies, act as expert grader for hair saloon tests, data analysis & prediction models, in partnership with external vendors or at our internal facilities, for our iconic brands - including Neutrogena, Tylenol, Listerine, Johnson's.
Key Responsibilities***
- Run the operations for internal quantitative or qualitative R&D market research, under GCP principles.
- Coordinate the operations for early stage iteration studies with consumers
- Act as sensory expert grader for skin and hair attributes
- Support on the development of sensory maps
- Planning and preparation of questionnaires and interview guides templates for quantitative or qualitative research.
- Acquire, analyze, interpret, and collaborates to develop prediction models
- Preparation of research documents, such as protocols, informed consent document, reports.
- Development of schedules and planning of stages.
- Present findings and recommendations
- Supplier management
- Contribute to the development and improvement of protocols, test methods, and standard operating procedures
- Ensures the execution of internal and external processes within the company's quality standards.
Qualifications
**What we are looking for**
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Science, Health and Social Science areas or its correlates
- Advanced English (Speak, Read, Write)
- Previous experience with qualitative or quantitave market research
- Excellent communication skills for direct public contact
- Data science/digital savviness.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with sensory methodologies is a differential
- Knowledge of statistic analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with GCP principles for in human studies
- Proactive, detailed oriented and interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
