The outcome is to implement differentiated policies and programs that improve the capacities of the national government, local and family farmers in areas such as ATER (rural extension and technical advisory services), Credit Programs, land access and governance, access to markets and the strengthening of cooperativism.Reporting LinesThe incumbent reports to the Assistant Representative in FAO Brazil – Programme.Technical FocusTo carry out a comprehensive study on the National Program to Support the Qualification of the Management of Family Farming Enterprises – More Management, addressing its implementation, methodologies, results and impacts in the five Brazilian geographic regions.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPrepare a proposal for a work plan to monitor the More Management Program to be executed by SEAB/MDA;Support the project in meetings whenever requested or upon need to deepen specific issues related to the More Management Program;Contribute to the qualification of strategies and methodologies to expand the reach of public policies for technical assistance in management;Collect and systematize data on the actions developed by the SEAB/MDA More Management Program;Develop technical and analytical products to support SEAB/MDA within the scope of the More Management Program;Present the results of this assignment in relevant forums, during the term of the contract and at the request of the SEAB/MDA coordination.CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING:University Degree in Applied Social Sciences, Human Sciences, and/or Agrarian Sciences according to the CAPES/CNPq table of areas of knowledge.Minimum experience of 03 (three) years in programs, projects and/or policies aimed at cooperativism and/or associativism for Family Farming.Working knowledge (level C) of English or Spanish and Portuguese.National of Brazil or resident of the country with valid work permit.FAO Core CompetenciesTechnical/Functional SkillsDesirable experience in planning and monitoring government programs.Please note that all candidates should adhere to FAO Values of Commitment to FAO, Respect for All and Integrity and Transparency.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONFAO does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview meeting, processing).Incomplete applications will not be considered.
