Data Scientist (Aws)

ITTConnect is seeking an AWS Data Scientist to fill a position with a US client. This is a position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the telecommunications space (internet, cable TV, cellular provider).Job location: REMOTE, work from home anywhere in Brazil .Only resumes in English will be reviewed. All interviews will be in English only (must be fluent)Some of your responsibilities will be:Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured dataEnhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systemsProcessing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysisAnalyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutionsDeveloping prediction systems and machine learning algorithmsUsing machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiersPropose solutions and strategies to tackle business challengesCollaborate with Business and IT teamsPresenting results in a clear mannerRequirements:Should have 6 to 8 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Coding, Analyzing and data science.Robust understanding and knowledge of statistics and data analysis conceptsStrong math skills especially in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability & StatisticsDetailed knowledge of database, data analytics and visualization toolsStrong coding skills in SQLKnowledge of using machine learning workflow/toolkits i.e. Kubeflow and analytics engine i.e. Spark is a plusFamiliarity with other data analytics tools, data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop) is an asset Knowledge of Python will be a plusStrong Communication Skills and Client Relationship managementBenefits:None ("PJ" contract).
